Why Is This Move Important to Canada?

The move is a temporary measure aimed at solving labour shortage. You can work over 20 hours per week off-campus during school session.

The temporary measure begins from November 15, 2022 to December 31, 2023. initially, you can only work off-campus during school session for up to 20 hours per week.

But, you can work more during the summer and winter holidays. Minister Sean Fraser said that the new work offer also apply to those who have already submitted a study permit application.
