Jesus Christ clearly said in Matthew 11 vs 28 that He came to call on those who were weary - tired of this world - and heavy laden. Someone who is still pushed around by the desires of his body is obviously not tired of this world and not even looking to abandon it for that which Jesus Christ has to offer instead. So why lie that the Lord is looking to transform such a person when the Lord first requires you at least adopt self-discipline right from the door in? If one is unwilling to actively abandon the Old way in order to follow the New Way - an exercise which requires active control of one's mental self, then how can you claim to serve Jesus Christ or even belong to Him?
