8 Preparations You Should Make Before Starting an AUDIO MESSAGE recording.

Audio message is one of the leading ministry resources that have blessed so many people for ages.

Many Pastors are yet to utilize this powerful tool for their ministry.

Audio recording is one ways to make a message outlive you after it must have been preached.

I will share with you a few preparations you should make before starting your AUDIO MESSAGE recording.

1. Ensure you are familiar with the topic you are preaching. Be adequately prepared to deliver the message, make the necessary research ahead. If you are not well prepared, it will lead to another problem which I will reveal in the next point.

2. Don't speak as if the message was scripted, flow in your delivery. To avoid that, then you should do your study very well.

3. Avoid noisy environment. Noise at the background can spoil a very good message. The next step will help you solve the noise issue if it is something beyond your control.

4. Record directly from the mixer using audio recording cord and App or software. If you are using a smartphone, get it closer to you or a nearby speaker. Just in case there is still noise at the background, there are simple ways to remove that with either a smartphone or a laptop.

5. During your sermon, avoid saying things that will make not be proud to share the message. Yes, control what you say per time and don't digress too much. If you must share a personal story, know how much you can let out. If you must share other people's story, be sure the identify of the person is well protected. This is to enable you be more professional as possible and to avoid any issue from the message you deliver.

6. Keep your message simple and short. People enjoy an Audio message more if they can finish it while doing other things. Don't prolong your message more than necessary.

7. Give room for mistakes. You may have everything in place and still overshoot. That's no problem, you only have to have ready some audio editing tools. There are many audio editing tools you can use to cut out, remove and delete some part of the message you don't want to send out there.

8. If possible, avoid using an interpreter if you are going to post it for a larger audience. I used the word if possible because I understand environment may prompt that.
