Education is vital if Africa is to thrive especially Nigeria.

Quality education resources are one of the keys to helping Nigeria become a thriving society, promotion, tolerance, peace, Innovation, advancement and positive growth.

Largely overcrowded classroom with too few teachers are made worse by a chronic lack of books and teaching resources.

Mathematics and Science books and other teaching materials are vitally non-existent and the few books that school do have mean that up to 20 children often have to share one book

In Lagos State, 49.1 children for every teacher and 62 pupils for every secondary school teacher and for all children in school, 80% do not have basic text book for key subject despite the provision made by the state government, instead children rely on copying from the black board, teacher dictation and low cost leaflet that are generally poorly written and poorly produce.

Dr. Olayinka Alausa (CEO Omo Alausa Foundation) through the Foundation media and Publicity Director Mr. Oyelara Saheed Adekunle said, All children should have a basic right to education because without education things can not change.

He also said, books provide the foundation from which all children learn and gain knowledge, inspiration and motivation providing appropriate and sufficient books leaning materials enable children to access leaning, to feel value and to understand and recognise the link between education and positive change.

Mrs Odirionu, the Head Teacher and Mrs Olaiya the Assistant Head Teacher of Ile Iwe Metta primary school, Isolo welcome Omo Alausa Foundation to the school and thanks the foundation management for care and love.

The foundation management was also received and welcome by Ag. Executive Secretary Oshodi Isolo Local Government Education Authority Mrs. Ojo Martins and the HOS (Head Of Social Administration) Mrs Aderemi.

Mrs Aderemi (HOS) Oshodi Isolo Local Government Education Authority express joy over the the humanitarian service being render by the Foundation through Dr. Olayinka Alausa, she said, the books will serve as an encouragement to the children and also inspire them to read, lean and increase their skill and ability In reading.

Mrs Aderemi also said, if more personality can emulate what Omo Alausa Foundation is doing, education will be more easier because the State Government are trying in terms of providing text book to all pupils, but the challenge is that, some of parents can not afford to buy other accessories like, pencil, biro, writing books, bag and even uniform.

The HOS plead and request from the foundation if they can also do a little of this to the pupils by providing little they can, it will help the pupils.

Dr. Olayinka Alausa CEO Omo Alausa was moved by this and promise the HOS to provide some writing materials and accessories to the pupils and also promise to donate some uniforms to them.

Dr Olayinka Alausa said, young people are the future of the country and we need to to equip them with the education they need so that they can make the change.
