If you are actively searching for a job, scholarships, volunteer or internship opportunities, get an Excel Template or an Exercise Book where you would be writing every single place you apply for.

This will help you keep track for each of them so that when you get an unsolicited invite by mostly all these affiliated or network marketers or scammers, you can easily tell you didn't apply for it.

Added to the above, don't forget to check up any address on #Google and #Nairaland when you receive any invite. If you are in a WhatsApp group where you have other applicants or recruiters, you can post the address there too after your findings for more clarity. This is a little sacrifice you can take to safe your life.

The rate and desperation for people to commit evil is becoming too alarming and their most and easy target seems to be job Applicants.
