Manchester City has outclassed most of their opponents so far this season thanks to Norwegian striker, Erling Haaland, who has silenced all those that doubted if he could continue his Bundesliga form in the Premier League.

Unsurprisingly, he was on the score sheet against Southampton, on Saturday, in a Premier League match in which his team was comfortable 4-0 winners. That goal took his goal tally for the season to 15 in 9 Premier League games and 20 in all competitions.

The blistering start he made to his carer in the Premier League has led to talks that the Norwegian could eventually equal Cristiano Ronaldo's career total goals, which currently places him as the highest goal scorer of all time when it comes to goals recognised by the international governing body of association football, FIFA.


So far, the 22-year-old Norwegian striker has scored 176 goals for club and country while Ronaldo, at 37, has 816 goals. That said, based on calculations following Haaland's goal against Southampton, he will need to score exactly 40 goals a season for the next 16 years to level Ronaldo's career total goals, as things stand.
