The lawmaker representing Nnewi North in Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor has felicitated with Nnewi Anglican Women on the 27th Women Conference of the Diocese.

Hon. Smart Okafor who was at Diocesan Church Center, St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Nkwo Nnewi, yesterday, Saturday, 8th October, 2022, congratulated the wife of the Anglican Bishop of Nnewi, Mrs. Ukamaka Obi on her giant strides in the Diocese, noting that the achievements both in the spiritual growth of women and projects she has carried out is exceptional.

Speaking at the conference, Hon. Nonso Smart Okafor said that as a lawmaker she has carried out projects and programs that have touched the lives of a lot of women within his constituency, promising that he is poised to do more.

He revealed that the houses he built for widows, the salary scheme he established for widows, the medical bills he pays, and the employment he facilitated have women as the highest beneficiaries.

Appealing for the support of the women towards his House of Representative aspiration under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC), he promised that if given the mandate, women in Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo will feel the impact of his representation.
