Job Title: Media Officer

Location: Ijaye-Ojokoro. Lagos.

Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

• Check the press office’s email inbox for media enquiries
• Write the organization’s press releases/statements, position papers, etc
• Phone or email journalists to try to interest them in the organization’s press releases and feature ideas
• Devise and produce proactive media campaigns
• Monitor media coverage and prepare regular evaluation reports
• Prepare and attend press conferences or interviews for the organization’s
• Write, proof-read and contribute to the organization’s publications
• Meet journalists and foster good relations with the media
• Write for and update the organization’s social media pages
• React to and deal with urgent news reports within the organization’s thematic arrears.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should possess OND, Degree or its equivalent
Must be confident, polite and Good looking
Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals•
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Exceptional problem-solving skills.
Ability to think strategically and analytically.
Proficient in MS Office is an advantage.
Ready to resume immediately
