To many people out there, it is just an election..

But they are not considering some hidden implications which might destabilise all the prioir Political Calculations and Permutations we had been practicing all these while in Nigeria before now.

ATIKU
If Atiku wins in 2023, then it means that all forms of power rotation in Nigeria had gone extinct.
It means that, going forward, all the parties would now continue to throw their party thickets open, in order to continue to make sure that candidates from some certain regions with presumed “high number of voters” are always selected/elected, so that they are assured of massive winning votes from the region.

TINUBU
If Tinubu wins in 2023, then it means that trying to balance the candidacy by choosing someone from another region and religion had also gone extinct too.
It means that, going forward, all the parties would be choosing the running mates of their parties without paying attention to which region or religion or sect that are forgotten or neglected.

CONCLUSIONS:

If Atiku wins, then in 2031, all the parties would field Candidates from the NORTH.
Since PDP did it in 2023, and they still won.

If Tinubu wins, then in 2031, all the parties wouldn't mind who they choose as running mates. They won't seek to balance the candidacy any longer.
After-all APC did it in 2023, and they still won.

We won't be surprised if in 2031, we continue to see two NORTHERN-MUSLIMS as the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates of most of the major parties.

We won't be surprised if none of the Southerners would ever become president again in this country.

I am not being tribalistic here.
I am trying to open our eyes.
If any of these scenarios play out in 2031 as a result of our choices in 2023, then it means that Nigeria is no more fair any longer.

The outcome of the 2023 Election would greatly determine what the future Political Calculations and Permutations would be like.

We can continue to believe that the parties are being politically sagacious, and that they are playing their best cards in order to win the 2023 Election by all means possible.
But let us always remember that there are some implications to the choices we make.

I think we should look at this scenario from the prism of competence, the only way people that are not close to power can benefit from power is by voting in competent people in positions of authority, just like in an organisation, having competence people at stations ensures work gets done. If Nigerians understands this and know that the president may be your next door neighbour but if he is incompetent, you will suffer from his maladministration. Market prices doesn't discriminate across regional or party lines, a better Nigeria with strong and secured economy is a big win for all of us.

THERE IS A TOP PRIORITY TO REMOVE RELIGION FROM.POLITICS AND THATS WHAT APC has given US unlike Pdp.

APC TICKET IS SOUTHERN/NORTHERN While Pdp thick is NORTHERN /SOUTHERN after 8years of same northern/southern.

I think the Apc ticket will one day make anyone became president in future regardless of there religion.

Religion should not be a barrier to what happens to you can achieve in life.

With APC ticket, a Northerner Christian can pick the presidential ticket and choose a southern Christian.

Atiku winning means the NORTH Will forever be ruling NIGERIA.
It's a bad/sad Omen for a healthy Nigeria

Some people believe Nigeria will never break up no matter what...in other words there's no consequences for any kind of political actions and decisions.
The bad news is that the old order are the ones keeping Nigeria together with one hand and destroying Nigeria with the other..and soon they'll be gone/dead, and what will be left is the consequences of decades of their ineptitude....Chaos.

That should be top priority to remove tribe and religion from politics. President and VP can come from or South. Fashola or fayemi or MC oluomo should be Tinubu running mate. Say no to nepotism.

You' allowed ur sentiment to take over ur objective reasoning.
You cannot remove fedral character.
Regional interest must be represented but religion needs to be out of it.
Before the white introduced religions to us, we have our various religions and no one is fighting each other.

The white brought ds and introduce enemity in d name of winning soul.

Doing good used to be the best religion and a criteria to know a good man not now where fornications pastors are taking the wheel

You have allowed ur sentiment to take over ur objective reasoning. Tribal, regional and religious sentiments should be removed from our national politicking. We need competent hands just as Shetima is more competent than any known Northern Christians.

I just feel we need a fresh start, maybe a military dictator. We sink deep into the wrong pit every day. These sets of political actors are not ready to move this country forward.
Look at the antecedents and character of the gladiators.
Wike an ikwere man succeeded another ikwere man in person of Ameachi. Wike has taken the plundering of state resources to a whole new level with the things he does with the state funds.
Atiku has a very questionable character and he doesn't care who goes down for him to become the president. As for tinubu, the guy is not just a godfather with quick fingers he is very sick also. His choice of a Muslim vice is a bad idea too.
Obi may be the best for now but the structure of the country won't allow him operate freely. The NA will frustrate him to keep their loot while the judiciary will compromise to remain afloat in the sea of corruption. To fix this country we need a detribalised dictator to treat the fvckup of politicians and civil servants.

We should stop applying Federal Character Principles in all the other spheres of our national existence.

Everything should be purely based on merit, and through unbiased screening exercises

We wouldn't want things to degenerate to this.

But there is no other thing we normal citizens can about this,, other than to come out massively and vote rightly, and save our country early enough.
