Right now what we need are leaders, who have a genuine love for the people; I mean a loving and compassionate leaders.

People rarely talk about love, when they speak about the attribute of a good and effective leadership. Yet, 'love for the people' is the greatest motivation for change. Nobody would hurt, harm or disenfranchised a people that they genuinely love. Instead, they would readily give their one and only, for whom they so love. As it is written; *For God so love the world that he gave his only...*

The truth is, you may have the right knowledge and competence that is required to bring change, but all that knowledge would amount to no good, if you don't have a genuine love for the people that you are called to lead. If our leaders have genuine love for the people, they won't take them through such a laborious, painful & time wasting processes, instead, they would make all the sacrifices necessary to improve the people's living, working and environmental conditions. Even if that sacrifice would mean them going to the cross.

*2 Thessalonians 2: 16. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,*
*17. Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.*

In this coming election, as we campaign and speak against selling of vote, lets also campaign for voting wisely, using 'love for the people and the state, as a yardstick or parameter for choosing the right leaders.
