Rico Swavey: Alex Unusual Slams Hospitals Over Delayed Treatment

Former Big Brother Naija's housemate, Alex Unusual, has slammed Nigerian hospitals who delay treatment of patients because of money.

She said this on her InstaStory on Thursday.

Alex Unusual, who is currently mourning her friend, Rico Swavey, who died on Thursday following a car crash, lashed out at the hospitals, stating that they cause so much pain with their stalling.

She said, “May God punish these hospitals that take time to start working on people that are rushed to the hospital. You have caused so much pain all for what? What is money that you let lives go like this by stalling?”

You sat down in your house and you are passing professional judgement on a case you know absolutely nothing about. You are just speaking gibberish like someone that was recently introduced to medical terminologies in pre clinical school .
1) How did you know he was in collapse? Do you know wether there was raised intracranial pressure as a result of head injury? Of course one of the ways to lower Raised IOC without lowering systemic pressure is a reversed trendelenburg position.
2) Did you bother checking the temperature? Do you even know wether he was actually feverish ? All these online warriors self.
Nevertheless, I just answered you because you are moving purulent stuffs online. I don't think those are the reasons the guy was in that awkward position. I think stretcher was not available at that moment to move him. Paucity of equipment. So many things were wrong but not all these your ignorant display of medical knowledge.

This is why I do tell people that "you can go through school of learning and learning won't go through you" imagine set of professionals medical practitioners that are supposed to perform their duty diligently, but decided to choose social media ahead of their duties.

The hospital and the workers are supposed to be sued.

Exactly how i lost my mom at one of the general hospital in Lagos State. The doctor that attended to my mom was still a student o. The two senior nurses that were suppose to be compassionate as mother's were just taking everything as an insult.

As a common man, try not to get any serious sickness in Nigeria.

The net length of d video is 29 seconds and in dt short time some ignoramus heaped d blame of d death on d medical staffs.

I still don't find any laxity in the actions of the nurses in d full view the camera talk less of laughing. As a matter of fact they were all in emergency mode.

It's true many medical staffs can be lackadaisical at crucial moments like this, but not in ds case.

Some ppl just like transferring their frustrations on others.

I don't know about other countries nurses, but to be honest with you, about 80% of Nigeria nurses are purely wicked, will I say it is the nature of their job or what, just like Nigeria lecturers.
