Nnamdi Kanu: Appeal court ruling may affect Peter obi – Adamu Garba

An ex-presidential aspirant of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, and now a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adamu Garba, has reacted to the Appeal Court’s ruling on the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

Recall that the Appeal Court had discharged and acquitted Kanu of the terrorism charges levelled against him by the Nigerian government.

A three-judge panel of the appellate court ruled that Kanu was illegally extracted from Kenya by Nigerian agents in a process known internationally known as extraordinary rendition but which rights experts define as an abduction.

The judges held that the Nigerian government could not charge Kanu for any offence in the country until federal authorities explained how they moved him from Nairobi to Abuja in June 2022.

Reacting, Adamu on his Twitter page said the appeal court verdict will spell doom for the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

”By the way, I wonder what empirical evidence convinced the appeal court to discharge and acquit Nnamdi Kanu despite his obvious criminal activities.

”I respect the court’s judgment but if Kanu can go free, Abba Kyari, Sunday Igboho and Henry Okah should all be freed.

”With the recent Appeal Court decision on Nnamdi Kanu, I don’t know what Peter Obi’s manifesto will be? Or is this the end of the euphoria?

”Nnamdi Kanu’s release may well be the final coffin of the Labor Party.”

I know most of you are not smart ...but obi president and Biafra are not mutually exclusive ..

From saying Nigerians are not smart enough to vote different party for different positions

To now saying kanu's welcomed release would affect obi chances

The truth is obi doesn't care about his chances , Nigerian youths dragged him out to contest , Infact we forced him to contest , told him to leave PDP , had input in his vice selection ...we demand his campaign spokes person be removed and he did

Peter obi is not running for president ...but Nigerian youths who just want a sane control to develop their talents are the ones running for president through Peter obi ...

Why will some people open their mouths to speak, even when they don't understand the situation?

Adamu Garba has misread the whole situation, and will be surprised to see how the game unfolds.

Peter Obi is still the clear choice of Nigerians.
