INEC Insists On Use Of BVAS, Electronic Transmission Of Results by Cyynthia(f): 9:04pm On Oct 18, 2022
The Independent National Electoral Commission on Tuesday reassured Nigerians that there is no plan to discard the use of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) and the electronic transmission of results.

Addressing participants in Abuja at a training of master trainers on technologies for 2023 general elections, INEC Chairman, Prof, Mahmood Yakubu, said the commission is determined to deploy the BVAS technology for the conduct of a free, fair, credible and transparent election.

Prof. Yakubu also appealed to political parties and their candidates to shun politics of violence.

The INEC Chairman’s reassurances came amid reports of plans to distort the use of technology for the 2023 general elections.

I still wonder why Tinubu and his urchins are scared of the use of BVA and electronic transmision of result

Must Tinubu rig or buy votes to win election?

INEC got Nigerians full support to use the BVA and electronic transmission of result

We say NO to election rigging and vote buying by Tinubu

The time of carrying of ballot boxes by MC Olomo's boys has come to an end..

Their only hope now is vote buying, even if they have the money to buy people over how many people are you buying over ?

Even if you manage to bribe them its going to be a secret ballot... Tinibu is really in a big trouble

They still buy votes but we will resist vote buying in 2023 like we did in Osun state governorship election

The onus lies only on INEC maintaining its integrity by standing truly independent on its own. Anything below that, then the credibility of the agency will be in doubt.

Even if Inec chairman compromises what of the people hes working with ?.. Hes not working alone..

If you see how inec officers are telling Nigerians how BVAS is going to be used and see the passion in them during their different interactive sessions then you will understand that they are ready and eager to tame election riggers ...

INEC is setting itself up for failure. I love BVAS and hope it is the sole method of conducting election in Nigeria. However it doesn't seem to have redundancy built in i.e. it's a single point of failure system. What will happen if BVAS is hacked or the system is jammed?

Even in the US, sometimes the e-voting machines malfunction......I hope the 2023 election result will not be contested for months

As it ended it tears for those who thought they would hack it during Osun election, so shall it end in tears for those intending to repeat it during presidential election next year...

If you hack it what if the duplicate... ?

I hope you really understand how bvas works... No room for hacking

Those old and worn out politicians are beginning to see the writing on the wall

They cannot rig

How much can they spend to buy votes

After spending so much

They now lose election

Are the INEC staff not Nigerians?

Even if they use the 10 commandments tablet to vote, these bastards will still rig the elections.

The politicians have learnt how to circumvent the BVAS.

They now buy votes with 3k and 2k....

Atiku >winner 27m votes

Peter obi >17m votes

Tinubu > 12m votes

Obi decamps to PDP to become atiku favourite to assume power in 2027..

SE becomes president in 2027.
Atiku spends one term in office

No going back on Bvas, we know some people want to rig election and snatch ballot boxes but that won’t be possible. Also Inec should make sure their server is strong and reliable so their won’t be any form of hacking.
Let’s vote for competent people for once and let our vote count.
