Technically no serious investor will listen to a terrorist don't fool yourself, the honorable thing to do if you are patriotic is resign so that we can look beyond you. No serious company will take you seriously because of your history.

Why is the president taking till eternity to sign this important decentralization of electricity into law?
Will the tech startup companies use candle to work?

The decentralization of electricity bill should have been the first bill that should have been signed into law considering what most of the citizens are facing as a result of epileptic power supply!

Once the bill is signed by the president, states will now have the authority and mandate to generate, transmit and distribute electricity in their own domain or better still, give licences to private companies to provide electricity to the citizens in that state!

For those who will come and erroneously say it has been signed into law, please note that its the national assembly that have passed the bill and its waiting for the president to sign the bill into law!

But then crypto currencies which is a major catalyst for the rough but fairly okay startup is a major problem, right?

Please, let’s be honest with ourselves.

Are you in doubt?

Anything that says allocate money by this government is a looting avenue.

I can assure you that real startups won't see half of that money.

JUST 10 BILLION. THAT’S SO POOR FOR A COUNTRY OF THIS MAGNITUDE AND FOR A SECTOR THAT REQUIRES 100s OR BILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO PUSH UP

How else do you suppose you can proffer an in-depth solution except signing a law that forms the very foundation of the solutions that are to follow?

We may not like the man and his style of governance but it is no yardstick to demonise positive decisions all in a bid to further express hatred. You just ended up even sounding like one who has no knowledge of things but prefer to deceive others with farfetched vocabularies.
I stopped reading his comment [and many others] halfway. Too many of his kind on Nairaland these days. Likes means more to them than common sense. Such a pity.

Mr poor masses. Go on YouTube and learn an IT skill for free and join the tech revolution.

You will access it.

Not if you sit in your backyard blaming govt.

Wasting time on NL talking of 'poor masses'.

You can either be a 'poor mass' or you can upskill yourself and move up.

Startups can be created in many fields;... Tech, solar energy, IT, agriculture, organic food, trading, skill development, education.
Nigerians can develop a Startup culture with mentors to ensure that young entrepreneurs get the right guidance to incubate, startup
and scale their business ideas within a short span of time

N10 billion for startups?

Is this supposed to be a joke?

At least N500 billion would be for a start. If you know what startups really are. Israeli format, the world's home for startups.

Another nonsense. They will only share that money among their children and friends. No matter how innovative you are, if your father, uncle or brother is not there you won't have access to that fund. Rubbish.
