Kenyans and Ethiopians will win everything as usual.
It will be competitive and interesting only if those countries are excluded
Read very well
The organizers are already aware of Kenyans and their likes....

So they divided the race ...
-International race
-Nigeria race
-Student race

However, the prizes for each race are different...55k dolls to 500k naira

Interesting.... now we have 80k dollars to dole out, what is the ROI on this event? Boy do we have misplaced priorities. That money will fix alot of schools with leaking roofs and no chairs, there are things to emulate from westerners but not this one. We don't have the resources for this type of extravaganza.

it's a long term project. Tourist attraction would increase in the future as the event expands. People would come to Nigeria and spend their dollar in those hyper expensive Abuja hotels that are always short of customers.

The ROI is that we are building athletes for the future. Please don't complain. This is important.

You dole out 80k USD for something we all know the East Africans will collect. Then you dole out 3 million naira for the Nigerian version. Una never serious about developing long distance race for Nigeria. Nonsense!

and it would also help some people that really need it to solve some urgent needs that's if they fall within the categories of people who would get sumtin from it besides I know a friend that benefitted in the access marathon here in lagos. He got 1m from them this year.

Yes, you're a condemned BASTARD, and may GOD never have mercy on your soul!!
