You lack understanding to know how protest his carried out, when people wants to protest in a normal society you write to the police who in turn send police men to make sure it's done peacefully, not until it turns violent the police should just be a bodyguard, the Endsars protest was peaceful until soldiers came and start shooting peaceful protesters....same thing in my State, when people come out in the name of protest and start destroying other people properties it is not long a protest but riot and no one can blame the police for taking any Action, but this government immediately you write to them that you want to carry out a peaceful protests they will say no and immediately send police to the site to scare people away, when u are bold enough to come out the police will stating shooting tergas or other stuff which make there action undemocratic
