The #EndSARS Memorial procession took place today, Thursday, October 20 in commemoration of the 2020 massacre at Lekki Tollgate, Lagos state.

The procession was spearheaded by foremost Nigerian entertainers and social activists, Mr Macaroni and Falz. Also, they were joined by Feyikemi “FK” Abudu, a social media influencer and co-founder of the Feminist Coalition alongside other Nigerian youths at Lekki Tollgate.

Speaking at the #EndSARS Memorial on Thursday, Falz whose real name is Folarin Falana admonished Nigerian youths to vote for the right presidential candidate in 2023.

Falz speaking at the End SARS memorial procession had this to say;

“This is why we are here because we can never allow them to erase the legacy of the victims.

I think it is important that the Nigerian youths focus on the next elections for leaders who respect justice and human rights.

Those coffins are very symbolic and we don’t want to cause trouble and just remember those who laid their lives for us.”
