Hi everyone. We are planning of setting up a juice manufacturing plant for Nigeria market. Pls tell me, is there any gap to enable new players to penetrate the market? What are our chances of succeeding?

Due to power problem in Nigeria, we are thinking of set-up the plant in Ghana. Is that a good idea?

Thank you in advance for your suggestion.

Thank you Madam Uzuoma. The idea of setting up the plant in Ghana is because of Nigeria's power problem. We would reconsider the idea if we could reach a deal with PHCN. We have reached to them, hopefully something good would come out of our planned meetings with them.

Nigeria is our country and creating of jobs is one of our priority but we still needs to put other factors into consideration.

Thank you Madam L. According to the reports we have read, most beverage manufacturers are moving their plant to Ghana as electricity is the major operating cost. We read that Mobile Network Operators are expending billions of Naira per month on diesel. That's the reason why we intends to set-up the plant in a neighbouring country where there is electricity but we are looking into other options for electricity that would enable us to establish the plant here in Nigeria. As you know, there are other factors hindering juice industry in Nigeria but challenges could be turn into benefits.

I am based in South Africa and my family is staying in US. In those countries, tetrahedron package is the best and cheaper way of juice packaging. People prefer tetra pack to bottle.

Regarding quality, we intends to make sure that the juice quality wouldn't be compromise irrespective of the circumstances.
