I've been thinking about these Yahoo boys lately. Now many of them begin young and grow into it. Say, they begin at 18 and continue into their 20s and 30s. What happens when they get older? Like when they enter their late 30s and early 40s when society expects them to marry and have children?

They'd need some consistent source of income to pull this through. So do they continue doing Yahoo hoping for a windfall before they grow old and die? Or do they learn some skills along the way and go into some other business?

As they get older, they become top Nigerian politicians and "chairman\CEO" of big companies in Nigeria. By then, they have legalised most aspects of their illegal activities, they will look for some sympathetic stories to deceive Nigerians that they have "humble beginnings", they become ministers, governors, legislators, commissioners and hold many top positions in govt. The only arm of govt you don't find them is the judiciary because this arm is made up of professionals, but they become tools in the hands of these criminals. Only foreign govts, media or political opponents expose their past lives once in a while. Take the aid of the ogun state govt whose past live in the US was exposed a short while ago, how about Atiku, Tinubu, the late Kashamu and many others . In a nutshell, they follow the same pattern that other criminal elements follow, the successful ones diversify and try to legalize their activities while the unsuccessful ones continue, unless religion arrests them, with the hope that they will become successful one day
