Effective policing is 80% Intelligence 20% fight...unfortunately the NPF is very low on intelligence gathering

Shameless Nigeria police force, a foreign security agency give an alert under your watch and yet claim to be policing the country while a planned terror attack was being organized if not for the US embassy that alerted the public the police won’t do anything but wait until the attack was successfully carried out, this is how Kuje prison was overrun by insurgents even Owo Catholic attacks and so many that has happened in Nigeria soil and go unchecked, my people try as much not to be a victim o they don’t solve any crime in Nigeria they will just allow it slide people move on with their lives who don die don go no justice

Nigeria police is lacking 64yrs behind technology, so there is no way they can solve this puzzle that the Americans has hinted to them.

Imagine, a country over 10,000km is giving us intelligence report, no be juju be that.

Just forget it, Nigeria can never make it.

[quote author=Realists post=117846821]Good that the IG & his sister security agencies have taken preaction on this security threat.

It's a fact that the enemies of state abound in Nigeria, Number of public enemy are the cannibalistic terrorists, followed by BH boys & lastly the Benin republic fugitive. The three major tribes are the ones trying to bring down Nigeria, that's the open secret [/

pre action lol...mofos will start picking anybody they see on the road or beer parlour and claim they re working

Drill isn't what NPF should use to respond to this kind of threat.

I think Intelligent gathering and proactive means should be the next thing on Thier tactics not drilling. Drilling for what?
That there is a conspiracy to attack some location in Abuja and all they could think of is drilling?

Nawa oo.... Continue drilling and when it happens we will see if driving will prohibit it.

Re: Abuja: Police Begin Counter Terrorism Operation After US Warning Of Attacks by openmine(m): 12:15am On Oct 25, 2022
If the US had not issued this warning, the likes of the IGP and his journeymen will be sipping tea at the office waiting for directives from aso rock before they act!

As part of measures for forestall terror attacks, the IGP has directed the commencement of a Counter Terrorism Incident Simulation Exercise codenamed “Operation Darkin Gaggawa”.

smh angry angry

we have to wait for USA To give us warning before we know we are exposed. It is pitiable that we are still not doing enough in terms of local Intelligence Gathering at this stage of Technological and AI DRIVEN ERA. Cut and nail security mentality can only prevent petit criminals, not terroists. The last jail break and Presidential Guard Brigade at Abuja says it all, we are overtly cospicuously-porous-grossly porous. Smh.

Darkin Gaggawa is pointless. NPF lacks intel to forestall acts of terrorism

You said the better truth. How will the NPF win this battle when they can't even generate intel themselves.

Re: Abuja: Police Begin Counter Terrorism Operation After US Warning Of Attacks by AerialMapper: 5:35am On Oct 25, 2022
You know… we have a bunch of uniformed clowns called the Police! Scrap that, we have a bunch of uniformed clowns in the entire security architecture

It takes security warnings from foreign entities to THEIR CITIZENS to wake up ours. Their concern for their citizens made our clowns start faking concern and probably embezzling funds in disguise! It would surprise you that they share this security reports with our agencies but we ignore it but once their reports make it to public domain, they all jump around as if they know what to do.

Saw a group of police bandits somewhere in abuja searching pockets of drivers. Ride on boys…

Ordinary prison break, we couldn’t prevent or stop!

Clowns

Talking about intelligence gathering, the United States is number one, they have large datacenters that process information and intelligence. Have you heard about Five eyes global surveillance. The only way the United States can find it difficult to get you is when you dont communicate electronically, which is impossible. And even if you dont they will still get you. But it will take longer. Do we even know what is planted in our devices, we just buy them off the shelves and use them. Majority of those devices have backdoors. I get to know this because of my cybersecurity training and knowledge.
