Next time do your research before running here to make silly assumptions, he is not indian,he doesn't have an Indian passport, he's been to India like twice in his entire life, he was born and raised in the UK,his father was born in Kenyan,his mother was born in Tanzania,so I don't know wtf you're saying

OP is just doing the normal things world citizens always do, whenever any minority became a leader, or achieved something great.

Kenyans are celebrating his victory not because he is going to do anything for Kenya but because Kenya is part of him through birth and same with India, because he is Indian directly or indirectly, because he has India blood.
First ever time a person of different colour became British PM just like you celebrated Obama victory then.

Just like we celebrate here on Twitter, Nairaland and Co, if a Nigerian, get a political appointment in any advanced country even though the person does not even have Nigeria passport but as long as 1% Nigerian blood is in him/her, we celebrate.

If the new PM was caught committing crimes or fraud, then no body will be celebrating.

It’s same with white peoples too, whenever a German person becomes an MP in Italy or etc.
The Jews community celebrated Ukraine president when he came to power, even though the guy never held Israeli passport.
