Following the thread on the front page regarding the no work, no pay policy for striking lecturers, I would like to know whether this same policy applies to Senator Ekweremadu who has been in a UK prison for a while?

Buhari left this country to treat an unknown health condition for almost four months. Does the no work, no policy applied to him? :Or are we just being senseless as a people who have been perpetually trained to suffer and exonerate the very people who are meant to ameliorate our suffering?

Do we really have brains as a people or has the need to sound politically correct displaced the position of common sense and total emancipation from mental disabilities?

Why should the salaries of striking lecturers be an issue when ex-governors like Tinubu, Ngige, and the rest of them in APC and PDP are still receiving salaries. Some of them have been collecting allowances for 20 years without offering any service in return to the state.

You are talking total bullshit.

When you as a private individual part ways with your ex-worker, do you pay his/her pension?

Of course, this happens in special cases and not all.

It is called perks of the job.

You deliberately went on strike because you believed you could extend it for as long as you like and still get paid for it.

Gerarhia with your bullshit.

But when Buhari delebrately fled this country for four months unannounced to anybody, including you his most revered supporter, his salary and allowances remained intact. He even ran with the country's jets and pilots cheesy

Shame on you. They get perks for doing absolutely nothing. So what perks do you get for doing a lot to defend them? Abi your life don't deserve perks right now?

Are Nigerians truly cursed?? Why should the salaries of striking lecturers be an issue when ex-governors like Tinubu, Ngige, and the rest of them in APC and PDP are still receiving salaries. Nice view. Counter thread is here but do well to edit out any derogatory statements or insults so it can be considered for FP.

This is not a counter thread. Most Government Staff on the sick bed has been receiving their salaries as at when due. Some have been sick for two years or more.

Industrial Action is different from sick leave or circumstantial conditions.

So why does government want lecturers to fulfill the lost academic session if they will not get paid for the work that goes with it?
