The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max is no doubt one of the best and most powerful phones of 2022. But, that does not mean it’ll automatically be loved by many. I mean, some people consider the Dynamic Island Punch Hole ugly and others have complained about the HDR of the photos it produces. It’s also possible that you’re not a fan of Apple iPhones and this means you need an alternative smartphone preferably from the Apple iOS counterpart, the Android.
If for some reason you don’t want o buy an iPhone 14 Pro Max, there are lots of alternatives out there. There are some really good Android phones that have incredible performance, superb cameras, good battery life, and are more affordable. So, in this post, I’ll be sharing with you our selected best iPhone 14 Pro Max alternative. Without much ado, let’s jump right into it.

1.Xiaomi 12S Ultra
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra might have launched outside China but it sure is the number one iPhone 14 Pro Max alternative. This phone has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 which is a very faster and power efficient chipset. On average, you’ll get 9 hours from the 4860mAh battery under continuous intensive use and up to full day use for light users. Its display is big, fast, smooth, colorful, and very responsive. It is made of strong materials and it has water and dustproof.
The design of the phone is really beautiful and the simple punch hole makes the screen looks very tidy. If you’re a photo lover, the Xiaomi 12S tops the game too. It has 50.3MP main camera that has a 1-inch sensor inside. It also has a 48MP periscope lens with a 120mm focal length that can do 5x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom. The Xiaomi 12S Ultra has better HDR and takes cleaner night photos compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max. But, its chipset is not as fast as that of the iPhone 14 Pro Max and it drops frame rates when playing games. However, these are minor differences, and considering the fact that the 256GB version of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is cheaper than the 128GB version of the iPhone 14 Pro Max and it has faster wired and wireless charging and this makes it a very good alternative to the iPhone.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the most useful phone of 2022. It is the best phone for productivity and photography. This smartphone has an inbuild Stylus/SPEN and it has a very wide display with very thin bezels. The big display is a Dynamic AMOLED LTPO panel that can auto-refresh between 120Hz and 1Hz. Its single punch hole looks neater than the Dynamic Island punch hole of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Photos, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is better than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has two telephoto lenses and the 10MP periscope lens has a 230mm focal length and can do 10x optical zoom, and 100x digital zoom. The camera has Laser Auto Focus and a good HDR. The major downside of this phone is its performance. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is not as good as the A16 Bionic chip of the Apple iPhone. So, when it comes to performance and power efficiency, the iPhone 14 Pro Max beats the Galaxy S22 Ultra by a mile.

The photo quality and video quality on this phone are really impressive. It has features such as gimbal OIS, AF, HDR, and Pixel Shift, and its color is fine-tuned by Zeiss optics and Zeiss T* lens coating.

4.Motorola Edge 30 Ultra
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra (also known as Moto X30 Pro) is the world’s first 200MP smartphone. This phone camera can take well-detailed photos and also incredible photos in low light conditions. The Edge 30 Ultra is no doubt one of the best alternative phones to buy if you don’t like or can’t afford the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It has bigger storage, bigger RAM, and is cheaper than the Apple iPhone. This means you’ll spend less to get bigger RAM and storage if you buy the Edge 30 Ultra. It also has a very decent performance thanks to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset inside. Its 4600mAh battery supports 125W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
