*MADE TO LAST FOREVER*

This life is not all there is, your life on earth has a time limit, but to live forever is
dependent on the choices you made here on earth. Life on earth is just the dress rehearsal
before the real production. You will spend far more time on the other side of death - in eternity with God or - in eternity in hell. Earth is the staging area, the preschool, the try-out for your life in eternity. It is the practice workout before the actual game, the warm -up lap before the race begins. This life is preparation for the next. At most, you will live a hundred years on earth, but you will spend forever in eternity. Your time on earth is but a small parenthesis in eternity. You were made to Last Forever but it depends on the choices
you made here. Jesus is our life, without Jesus Christ, there is no life. Other religions may offer you money, wealth, etc. but cannot offer you life. Life is only in Jesus Christ. In Acts 4:12, the Bible said, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”.

Jesus is the only medium to eternal life. In our opening text, the Bible make it clear that immortality is only in Jesus. One day your heart will stop beating. That will be the end of your body and your time on earth, but it will not be the end of you. Your earthly body is just a temporal residence for your spirit. Where will you spend eternity? We must seek to know God in Christ Jesus for the rest of our souls. John made this clear in 1 John 5:11-12, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life”. Living on earth without Christ is making a decision for eternal destruction in hell. There is no earthly comfort or pleasure that can be compared to the joy of living eternally in Christ. There is no earthy regret, loss or disappointment that can be compared to eternal destruction in hell.

The best decision a man can make on earth is not getting the best education, job, good
marriage or winning a legal case. Though all these are good, the best decision a man can make is to be in Christ. We live in Christ by believing the gospel of Christ for eternal life. John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God”. God has made eternal life in Christ available to all men. The choice is yours. The choice is now.
