Akioyamen Josephine has resigned her appointment as Senior Special Assistant to Benue State Government on Diaspora Affairs.

Akioyamen in a letter addressed to the governor, through the office of the Secretary to the State Government, thanked the governor for the opportunity to serve the people of Benue State.


Meanwhile, G-9 Benue South Progressives Forum, a factional arm of the All Progressives Congress has welcomed Akioyamen to its fold.
The group in a statement by its Interim Pub Sec/PRO, Akor Ikwuoche, said her entry into APC marks the final furial of PDP in Benue state.

He said, “Dame Josephine is a high profile member of G-9 Benue South Progressives Forum and she was a stabilizing force behind PDP in Benue State since 2015 till date. She is a master Strategist and a woman of source.
