The Elites Initiatives Foundation (TEIF), one of the outstanding NGOs in Kwara State involved in improving the health and education of populations in rural communities have decided to empower young schools girls in rural areas on menstrual hygiene. The NGO carried out awareness campaigns and health education on good menstrual hygiene and also distributed sanitary pads to the the young girls.

The NGO have also been involved in diseases control activities in rural areas by carrying out programmes and interventions focused on preventing and controlling common infectious diseases in rural communities in Kwara State.

In the aspect of education, the NGO have distributed academic materials, books, and also empowered teachers in rural communities.
