It says she was twice my age at 2 years old. Then the problem tells you 38 years passed. Time moves linearly so she won't remain two times older forever. It would not make sense for the sister to grow twice as old for every year the sibling grows. The sister won't turn 6 next year when he turns 3.

My age is 2 my sister is times 2 which is 4
So now I'm 40 which means 38 years don pass, so just had that 38 years to my sister 4 years too to give you 42. Abi your sister na allien wey they grow twice your age every year. Example the following year you will be 3 wouldn't your sister turn 5 abi na 6 she go turn? True this can't be solved as a word problem.
