There are many factors that will decide the 2023 presidential election but, by all calculations, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has little or no upper hand and he will lose woefully to the two biggest parties.

The first thing you will notice is that the aged people usually come out to vote more during election time than young people, and this is because many of these elderly people belong to one party or the other.

In the South East and South-South regions, many people believe Peter Obi already has it in the bag. This may not be so, because the grassroots of both the APC and PDP in the regions will speak for them.

In 2015, Jonathan got over 90,000 votes in Kastina state. The question is who delivers that high vote to Jonathan in Buhari's home town, and the answer is that the majority of those who vote for Jonathan are PDP party members (grassroots).

In the 2019 election too, the APC had over 120,000 votes in Rivers state. This huge vote was also donated by the grassroots of the APC in the state.

Many states, likely Benue, Plateau, and Nassarawa, that Peter Obi believes that he has in the bag will also shock him because both Tinubu and Atiku will secure 25% in each of the states.
