Unfortunately The traffic to lakowe will drain the energy you needed to enjoy your stay...from island your first horrible traffic hold up will be at ogidan bus stop...2hrs minimum... Then abijo bus stop another 1 hour 30 minutes and then Ologufe that's the worst you may spend 3 hrs in traffic... I suggests that the lakowe lakes organizers should organize a helicopter... For their international visitors... My advice

This place will definitely be priced above the reach of the middle class as usual. There is no supervising authority to moderate runaway real estate prices in Nigeria. This is why many estates sit empty in places like Abuja, while millions live in squalor. You can only see foreign Oil workers, Yahoo boys, determined Oloshos and corrupt government officials and their relatives in these areas..

In most developing countries in say Asia, this kind of place is just a standard middle class neighborhood. Not even upto some standards.. Real estate prices in Abuja and Lagos are totally dangerous for the Nigerian economy. Someone will wake up and point at a marshy piece of wetland and expect you to pay for the same price for beachfront estates in Dubai and Miami! And someone will pay!! It's ridiculous..

lol buh naturally we categorize Lekki as part of island in Lagos we av 2 layers Island and Mainland and Lekki no dey under mainland....


And the way I see Sango ota is the same way I see Lakowe no Mata aw I cherish u reach if u av program in doz axis I will neva come no be me u go use holdup rewrite my day.....

It's a great location for international tourists looking forward to explore Africa but insecurity & Government negligence is preventing this country to utilize it's full potential.

Tinubu's Lagos. Thank God Tinubu put Lagos in his pocket. Tinubu please come to Delta state and put it in your pocket too. We want to see similar results.

Lekki is not an Island, it is a Peninsula
