However, this animosity has led to a lot of political, social, and economic problems for the country and most of the tribes have blamed the next tribe for their woes and situation.

1. Fulani Tribe
A dominant tribe in Nigeria known for their nomadic lifestyle. The Fulani tribe is topping our list because of so many killings and atrocities that have been linked to them. There have been more killings done by them than other tribes in Nigeria. The Fulani herdsmen (unknown gunmen) is an example. They can be mostly found in the northern part of the country, in states like Sokoto, Bauchi, Kastina, Kebbi, Gombe, Yobe amongst others.
