Everything in Nigeria is bad.

They couldn't survive 10 minutes against Portugal.

There used to be a time that Super Eagles were a team to watch... The days of Celestine Babayaro, Jay Jay Okocha, Sunday Oliseh, Kanu Nwankwo, Peter Rufai, Taribo West, Finidi George, etc

What exactly gives us joy as Nigerians now?
Bubu no get joy

These boys barely had 2 days to train together, so I don't expect magic.

Our keeper is definitely not trying at all.

We need an overhaul from Football body administration to coaching.

Can we just comment constructively without dishing insults

Nigeria needs a proper President and patriotic set of Lawmakers!

That's the foundation or root cause of every failure across sectors, from Sports, Education to Security!

Why is anyone surprised football/sports is struggling?!! How well are we doing in other sectors?!!

The SE is just a microcosm and a reflection of the Nigerian society at large.

All the players are not impressive, only Moses Simon is outstanding. The rest are just running up and down like spectators.

We really need to rebuild,Musa,Uzoho,Okoye and some unpatriotic, mediocre players needs to be shown the exit door

I was watching the match but had to stop, I don't want anger to spoil my night. This Nigerian team just came to count score, I can't see any zeal or motivation in wanting to play, at least have fun playing, we aren't going to the World Cup, facts established, but cmon, passes are inaccurate, possession is bin given away at will.

Or is it too much respect that's been shown to the Portuguese team, not wanting to send anyone home on injuries, I don't just understand.

Even Oman held their own against Germany yesterday.

with both good left backs and right back we will continue to get disgraced when we play with both our mates and our elders. sad

Ndidi is just strolling around, what a very poor and technically deficient player he is... It would have been better if we played with just 10 Players.

I never understand why football players or even sports/Athletes from Nigeria can never be in their peak years for more than 3 years. After 3 years they begin to already "Be past their Prime". For almost 2 decades now, no Nigerian athlete has been able to stay at the top or anywhere near the top for more than 3 years....Even their best and peak performance years could be described as average at best. Only maybe 1-2 Players have performed at a top level.

it's because they lie a lot on their ages . So they get burnt out easily . You see someone of 30 something claiming 18 years . How long do you expect him to be at his peak

If this is Portugal's 1st team for the WC, then they are going nowhere. Their players lack the hungry zeal and the palpable push for winning.

I doubt if anyone is expecting a win from the SE but the least expectation is for them to even know what they're doing or even attempt to pretend that they know what they're doing.

From the minutes watched so far, they don't even deserve a friendly game from any world cup team because they're very unhelpful to the world cup playing teams preparation.

Unhelpful in what way bro
