‘I take joy in doing Your will, my God.’ Psalm 40:8

The letter A stands for abilities. The Bible says, ‘God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.’ (Romans 12:6 NLT) What is your dominant gift? You might think you don’t have any gifts, but we all have gifts. Your gift may be undiscovered, undeveloped, unused, underused, or even misused, but you have a gift. Have you ever heard the saying, ‘There is nothing so powerful as an idea whose time has come?

When you put together the right opportunity with the right gift at the right time, the results can literally blow your mind. It may seem like you’re spending your life just surviving. Then suddenly, a crisis arises, a situation occurs, or a door of opportunity opens, and you discover abilities that have lain dormant within you for years. Today you may feel locked into a situation with no way out, but God is a way-maker.

Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were Jews who were taken as slaves to Babylon. Talk about being locked into a situation with no way out! But the Bible says: ‘God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for understanding every aspect of literature and wisdom. And God gave Daniel the special ability to interpret the meanings of visions and dreams.’ (Daniel 1:17 NLT) Does that mean you can just sit around and wait for success to be dropped into your lap? No, the old saying ‘opportunity knocks’ is actually not true. Opportunity awaits those who open the door and go out and look for it.

What has the verse you quoted to do with the gifts that God gives? undecided

And by the way, what "dominant" gifts are those? The gift that God gives us eternal life and He promised it to all those who are born-again. So how can the gift be said to be "dominant" when it is available to all who are born again? undecided

And how can eternal life be "undiscovered, undeveloped, unused, underused, or even misused" when it is a gift that is whether you do anything about it or you don't, i.e. even if you refuse to obey the commandments of Jesus Christ after receiving it, there is no taksies backsies on the gift. Or do you somehow confuse the gifts/talents that individuals are either born having or acquire over the course of their training and experiences in life with that which is indicated as the gift of God in scripture? undecided

Abeg, make we stop to dey spread these lies using God's name! undecided
