A video making the rounds online captures the moment Hollywood star, Letitia Wright was shocked when a presenter asked her an unexpected question.


Letitia, who plays Shuri, the lead character in Black Panther, was in Lagos over the weekend with other lead actor for the premiere of the sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.


During the red carpet interviews, an NTA presenter asked Letitia questions about the movie and expectations but when she was done, she asked the actress what her name is


Stunned by the question, Letitia repeated the question to the presenter and then proceeded to mention her name emphatically.

Can someone tell me her name cos me self no know her name. Abi did she know mine own name

"What's your name again" means she might know her name somehow but maybe she forgot. There is nothing wrong with the question

That's what happens when someone who knows nothing about a an area uses nyash or connection to get the job.

Just look at the disgrace.

Leticia was even gracious enough to still maintain her cool.

She never knew her name, she just tried to cover up.

Is NTA saying they don't have any other presenter that's into movies that could have covered this?

Abi na ancient days presenters them get to match their analog nature?

Even a simple google search before the premiere to get yourself acquainted with the cast would have made sense.

A well trained presenter will introduce the interviewee to her viewers and give a brief background of her role in the movie

May wants to exonerate her on the basis of maybe she asked cause of the audience who were not privy to black Panther.

Africans too dey take things to personal. What's the big deal about asking her name again?
