Ahead of the 2023 Pesidential Election, a support group identified as National Unity Movement for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (NUMBAT), has vowed to deliver over 30 million votes to the candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC.

The group made this vow on Tuesday, during the inauguration of its National Central Working Committee, Zonal and State Coordinators in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

In an opening speech, the Director-General of the support group, Hon. Engr. Bamidele Faparisi, stated that there is a need to build a strong political support for the party’s candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to actualize his ambition come 2023 emphasising that the former, is a firm believer in national unity, national integration and cohesion despite the existing religious and ethnic differences.

He said: " We all know the pedigree of the man, Jagaban, a man of faith who eschews bigotry. A man whose religion is progressive politocs, peace and development. A detribalized Nigeria who places merit and competence above every other consideration, and has proven to all and sundry in Lagos,  that he has the magic wand to truly change and transform Nigeria.

"Come 2023, NUMBAT, will mobilize over 30 million voters for Asiwaju 2023 presidential election through our 'One United Nigeria Campaign for Asiwaju', we will heighten our commitment from awareness to ownership of our principal's plans and manifestos to Nigerian. As well as provide national suport and promote him as a face of UNITY among the presidential candidates." he added.

The Director-General, reteriated the group's commitment and determination to facilitate and champion nationwide support through advocacy, community mobilization, capacity building, research and policy development for the achievement of a credible and nationalist presidential canditate during the general 2023.

Faparisi however, urged all newly elected executives to ensure that they seat up to the task ahead, as it is a non-negotiable duty to deliver 2023 to Asiwaju
