The simplest thing to do is to apply soap or detergent sud and rub unto the finger. Then pull the ring and it slides down.

This to me is most effective, fastest and easiest

Ever been through the dilemma of trying to remove a ring that had become stuck on your finger? Here's a simple but effective method to do it stress free!

All you need is a thread and small cellotape.

Cut a short thread and pass one end of the thread under the ring, then wrap the remaining parts of the thread tightly around your finger towards the finger nail and use the cellotape to hold the end of the thread.

Then grab the other end of the thread and start moving it in an unwinding motion towards your fingernail, and watch in amazement as the ring is easily moving with the thread until it is loose enough to remove!

If a thread can be passed under the ring, then it is not that tight. When a friend of mine was pregnant, she left her ring on and could not remove it till she have birth - thinking back, I am not sure this method would have worked.

If you mistakenly use soap like Tura to wash your hand with that ring stuck there, that day, you will travel to hell fire and come back.
The reaction between the soap and the ring on your finger is better imagined than experienced.
The fire will burn your finger that you will be shouting and crying like a baby.

Do not use harsh medicated soap to wash your hand while wearing some brands of rings.
I saw people crying cos of this when I was growing up.
