Decimal odds: Decimal odds are shown as one number, which is the amount a winning bet would collect on a 100 naira bet. If the odds are listed as 6, a winning bet will receive 500 naira profit and the original 100 naira bet. Anything between 1 and 2 is a favorite bet and 2 is an even money bet.

Point spreads: Sports betting can take place on various types of games. When the game involves scores, the gambler can bet on who or which team will win and by how many points. The bets on the points are called point spreads.

Over-under bets: Another way in which sports betting odds are offered is called over-under. Again, this type of bet can only be offered when scores are kept in the game being played.
