Most homes and businesses now own a number of chargers, but not many people know why we need them. The fact is that we are starting to see more vehicles with charging stations on board. And when this happens, the cars can charge their batteries while driving along.

This means that drivers don’t always need to stop and plug in. This also saves fuel because it cuts down on emissions. In addition, there is no cost involved for those who use electricity to power their vehicle.

And if you run a business, you probably have an interest in what kind of equipment you can buy. This might be a way to cut costs. For example, you could look into installing Electric Car Charger. If you do this you will save money. But you won’t have to worry about using.

There is no cost involved for those who use electricity to power their vehicle. And if you run a business, you probably have an interest in what kind of equipment you can buy. This might be a way to cut costs. For example, you could look into installing a solar panel system. If you do this you will save money. But you won’t have to worry about using gas or diesel to keep your lights on. If you want to find out more about the different kinds of electric car chargers available, then check out our page.

On a slightly more technical level, Tesla Motors sells a proprietary charging network based around the concept of “Powerwall”. These units are not compatible with any other form of charging. Powerwall's can charge up to 6 cars simultaneously, and when full they generate enough energy to provide the same amount of electricity as a 100-year lifespan coal fired power plant.

The company also offers a standard plug that can be used anywhere in the world. This is useful for owners who travel a lot. They can just leave their car plugged in at home while they visit countries where only these types of plugs are used, or if there isn't access to an outlet. The system provides electricity to the car during non-peak times, such as overnight.

The world is going towards the use of electric cars which will not emit any harmful gases into the atmosphere. Electric cars are very beneficial as they don’t produce toxic fumes.

But before this, people had to charge their batteries at home or office. For charging an electric vehicle there is a facility provided by the government called EV Charging Stations. These stations provide electricity for the vehicles without producing carbon emissions.

The government has provided these facilities in order to encourage people to go for electric cars. In India, the number of electric vehicles is increasing day by day. We have also started installing these chargers everywhere, even at hotels, colleges, hospitals and so on.

There are different types of chargers available such as standard wall outlet, quick charging port, cable-based charger and fast charging station. They all differ with respect to speed and efficiency. Here are some points about the installation of electric cars:

Types of electric car chargers:

1. Standard Wall Outlet (SWO):

It provides power for 2 hours when a single battery needs to be charged. You can find SWOs near your homes, offices, schools and malls. But, you need to remember that the price of this type of charger is higher than other two types.

2. Quick Charger:

This charger is designed to quickly charge the battery of electric vehicles. It takes only 20 minutes for one full cycle.

3. Cable Based Charger:

Cable based charger is used to connect the charger to the vehicle. This is the most common method because it is very easy to install. You just need a regular extension cord and then attach it to the car.

4. Fast Charging Station:

These are the most expensive chargers which work at high speeds. The advantage is they charge the batteries in 10 to 15 minutes.

How much does a charger cost?

The price of these chargers varies according to their size, shape, location and capacity. A standard outlet costs Rs. 700 to 1000 and fast charging station costs more than Rs. 3000.

Now let’s discuss how much should we spend on the installation of an electric vehicle charger. As discussed earlier, chargers vary in prices. So, it is important to select the best charger depending upon the requirements of your home.

If you don’t want to go through this pain, then I suggest that you must buy a standard wall outlet at the lowest possible rate as compared to the other chargers. If you do not have a space for this charger, then you can use your existing outlets for charging.
