To me the speech was uninspiring with no substance outside normal Nigerian political rhetorics. In the beginning one would think Tinubu was campaigning for a third term for President Buhari, as he spent considerable time eulogising Buhari. He often veered off-point and had to be brought back to script by interruptions by the D.J. Abike Dabiri often had to correct correct his gaffes particularly when he couldn't read and pronounce umbrella.

It will be difficult for Tinubu to have a one on one with a reporter or have an open debate.

You decieve yourself that all Yorubas support Tinubus and only igbos are against Tinubu. Is Afenifere that had never supported an igbo organization. I can conveniently say that at least 50% of yorubas don't like Tinubu or his brand of politics. Only his paid hacks (including traditional and religious leaders), agberos and cultists, his political benefactors and tribalists are is support base.

His campaign rallies are are worst in recent memory. Even Buhari who is not even an orator fared much better. Same with Jonathan.

If you listened to the campaign rallies of politicians of the first Republic - Awolowo, Zik and Tafa Balewa, you will cry for how candidate quality had retrogressed over the decades.
