Run-Off: Atiku Will Win At First Ballot, PDP Tells INEC by ogododo: 11:58pm On Nov 19, 2022
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has charged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to bother itself with preparations for a run-off in the 2023 presidential election, saying the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar, will win at the first ballot.

The campaign council in a statement by its spokesperson, Kola Ologbondiyan, asked INEC not to listen to diversionary narratives by apologists of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who the party said are allegedly “seeking ways to derail the election, having realized that their party has been rejected.”

The party said the electoral empire should concentrate on deploying its resources towards conducting a free, fair, transparent and credible election that will be generally accepted by majority of Nigerians.

Ologbondiyan said, “Our campaign is confident that by every indices and data available, our candidate, Atiku Abubakar, will win the presidential election of February 25, 2023 at the first run.

“The APC has seen defeat ahead as Nigerians are quickly reaching a consensus on the fact that the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is not electable.

“We urge Nigerians to remain resolute in their determination to vote in their choice, Atiku Abubakar, and take every step necessary within the ambit of the law to protect their votes.”

We know that none of the top 4 candidates will win at first ballot, so there will likely be a run-off if Kwankwaso stays in the race. That's why Peter Obi needs to focus on his base, the SE, SS, North Central, and Lagos and Kaduna.

It's a fight for the highest and second highest number of votes to head to a run-off

runoff is not between highest and second highest votes, it is between highest votes and the individual who won the highest number of states from the other candidates. If there is a tie of number states won , then second highest votes will be considered.

There's no need for rerun Mr Inec, ObiDatti will win fairly and squarely with a wide margin.
Lemme tell y'all something, In the history of Nigeria, something that will be close to the 2023 election will be June 12.
The level of awareness of Nigerians now, their preparedness for 2023, is something that will be unparallel.
Ironically, The political elite that rejected direct primaries are coming to face direct election with the people.
We'll see the outcome.
On ObiDatti mandate we stand.

there will be no runoff, Atiku and Tinubu will get the required 25% in at least 24 state. Obi is out of contention, he cant get the 25% in 24 states neither can he get the highest votes
