It is the first time the tournament will played in Europe's winter (November 20 to December 18).

This is the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup and 32 teams will be looking to put a new star on their shirt.

How much money will the champion and runner-up of the 2022 World Cup earn?
In addition to this great honor, the winner will also receive a financial reward.

FIFA explained in April at the Doha Exhibition and Congress Center how much the winner would receive.

The team that manages to reach the final of the Qatar 2022 World Cup and go on to win it will pocket a sum of 38 million euros.

On the other hand, the runner-up will earn 27.27 million euros. And so on, with the prize lowering according to the position.

The third-place team will net a sum of 24.45 million euros and the fourth will earn 22.64 million euros.
