Job Title: Store Attendant
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Retail Manager
Sector: Interior design & Procurement

Objective:
To display and sell product items in the retail store to customers.

Responsibilities:
Ensure the store is clean and in a pristine condition.
Ensure every customer leaves the store satisfied with their shopping experience.
Provide an easy, seamless shopping experience by keeping carts and baskets, aisle and shelfs well stocked and clean for guests.
Restocking depleted or low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organized according to established guidelines.
Interact with walk-in customers to know their needs, requirements and budgetary limits
Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Receiving, processing, and organizing items and deliveries accordingly.
Assisting customers in locating desired shop items.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.
Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
Addressing and resolving customers complaints in a professional manner.
Processing customer payments using the shop's Point of Sale (POS) system.
Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.

Skills & Requirements:
B.Sc / HND in relevant field of study.
Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a similar role.
Proven sales experience.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Emotionally Intelligent to address difficult customers.
The ability to use labeling and pricing equipment as well as Point of Sale (POS) software.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills.
Detail-oriented and fast learning.
