Have you not noticed how the average African man sells himself short? In marriage, in employment, in the choice of political leaders, in the acceptance of fate, in the acceptance of poor infrastructure, everything! We've carried the same thing into football, settling for less.

You are right!!! In as much I am pained to say this, only Ghana has the right attitude amongst the African representatives but they lack the talent. I do not like Ghana for anything but I really appreciate their mental fortitude against the so called world class teams, if Ghana has the right talents to match their Zeal, mentality and work rate, they would be the first African team to reach the semi finals, most other African countries respects the opposition too much.

Since majority of African players start playing for European teams, they have lost that jinga which we are known for. Why is it when Brazilians go Europe they still keep there freeform expression for the National team. No quick turns, dangerous dribbles, intelligent combination play, just brute force nonsense. Football in West Africa has gone backwards since 2010.

No learned team moves for corners and free kicks. Just smash the ball into the box and try to win a header. Same as ponderous naija play in the last two tournaments.

PS Cameroonians have the most players at this tournament - if you add their blood brothers playing for other countries.

Cameroon squandered their chances. It appears we won't have any African country in the round of 16 they way they are going. Cameroon was supposed to be the best shot of that happening.

Africa should be excluded from world cup soccer. Participating African countries don't show they belong. Senegal lost by two; Cameroon lost by 1. Ghana vs Portugal is going to end in a wash in favor of the Portugueses. So, tell me: Are you in favor of Africa continuous participation in world? And if yes, why?
