Anyone who says that structure is not important in Nigeria's politics is only deceiving themselves.

However, for the fact that Umahi is mobilizing people for Tinubu today is not enough to conclude that they will vote for Tinubu on election day.

When CBN rids the system of naira that politicians have stockpiled for vote-buying, how will they pay people to vote for Tinubu?

Besides, unless Umahi decides to buy votes for 10k per voter, nobody can vote for Tinubu in Ebonyi State clear-headed because that man is not popular among the people. Atiku Abubukar is easy to sell in the East than Tinubu.

Olodo please get your facts right when you quote me please. Igbos never voted for Abiola in 1993 - Abiola only won marginally in Anambra out of then 4 Southeastern states. Election in 1999 was between two Yorubas - Obasanjo of PDP and Olu-Falae of AD. Igbos have no choice nor alternative. Igbos decided to go with PDP who Obasanjo happened to be the candidate. Igbos have always voted PDP in Presidential elections regardless of the tribe of the candidate so it had nothing to do with Obasanjo being Yoruba. Falae was even Yoruba candidate not OBJ but igbos as usual with their hate votes against Yoruba wish. That is the reason Igbos are angry now and feel PDP have been ungrateful to them which is what is fuelling this new obsession and Nzogbu Nzogbu with Obi amongt Igbos.
