The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has promised $10b for the prosecution of youth employment and empowerment of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises if elected president within the 2023 basic elections.

Atiku made the pledge in Ilorin on Thursday at the flag-off of his presidential campaign for the North Central geopolitical zone, held at the Metropolitan Square alongside Asa Dam Road.

He also promised to deal with the problems of insecurity and the poor financial state of affairs of the nation.

He urged the Party supporters and people of Kwara State to vote massively for PDP within the bid to rescue the nation and reset it for constructive progress and growth.

The presidential candidate stated: “We shall be in Osun State on Sunday for the inauguration of a brand new governor of our party, which will kickstart the takeover of the South West by the PDP in 2023.”
