How Can We Ensure That Our Website Can Receive Payments From Customers? by ellakilfoyle749(m): 3:39am On Nov 27, 2022
If you want to sell products or services online, one of the most important things to consider is ensuring that your site can receive customer payments.

We recommend sending all credit card payments through Stripe or PayPal (Verified Paypal Account for Sale) instead of using your web store payment gateway because it's easier for buyers and sellers. You can also set up a Stripe account with their standard paid plan and no monthly fees!

Go to your dashboard and click on 'Customise Payment Options' under the 'Receive' section of the menu.

To begin accepting payments, you'll need to go to your dashboard and click on "Customise Payment Options" under the "Receive" section of the menu. You'll then see a page with all of your payment options displayed on it. Click on whichever option you'd like to use. At this point, a pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm which currency you want to accept as payment for items sold or services rendered.

After that, another window will appear with instructions for configuring an account in Stripe (or Paypal). This can be done by following their steps carefully and providing accurate information at each step. Once everything has been set up properly, return to your e-commerce store's dashboard and choose one of these two methods from among those listed under "Receiving Payments":

Select your country and currency, then choose any payment options that you want to make available to shoppers.

Before accepting payments, your site must be set up to identify the country and currency in which it operates. To do this, click on the settings icon on the top right corner of your screen and select "Site settings."

You will see a dropdown menu with two options: Store settings or Currency settings. Click on Currency settings to continue.

After selecting your country and currency, you can choose any payment options that you want to make available to shoppers. If paying by credit card is sufficient for your business, leave all payment methods blank except "None" to remove them from view altogether (you'll still be able to accept payments via these payment methods). If there are other payment methods you would like customers to use when purchasing items from your website, feel free t enter those here as well! Once done making changes click save changes at the bottom right corner of this window before moving on to step 4!

Click 'Save Changes.

Once you have confirmed your settings, click 'Save Changes. Make sure that you are logged in and on the right page. Once you have confirmed all the necessary information, click 'Save Changes.'

You can ensure that your website can receive payments from customers by following these steps.

• Set up a payment gateway on your website.
• Set up a payment processor with the payment gateway you just set up.
• Set up a payment service (this is usually done automatically as part of the setup process for your gateway).

Conclusion

We hope this article has cleared up any confusion about how to accept payments on your Shopify store. If you have questions about accepting payments on your site, please contact us at support@shopify.com or chat with us in the bottom-right corner of your screen!
