Minister of State, Labour and Employment and Director, Public Affairs and Spokespersons, Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo (SAN) on Saturday said there is nothing wrong in few slips made by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Many Nigerians have been critical of Tinubu for his gaffes at rallies and events which they attributed to old age.

He also said famous speakers such as former US President Barack Obama and the incumbent have made gaffes during campaigns and as such Tinubu’s own is not peculiar.

"I haven't seen any headline anywhere about Peter Obi describing Nasarawa as a country. When he (Obi) said Nasarawa is a country and not a state, did anybody make any news out of it?"

The point is that Obi didn't even goof in Nasarawa. He was making making reference to the size of Nasarawa state being larger than Netherland. He was trying to say that Nasarawa has the size of a country especially in Europe
