This is a poem I wrote without having anyone in mind I just feel someone out there might need it for their relationship to blossom.

MY ONE AND ONLY


Life itself is a battle
One we have to fight from cradle
There are a lot of difficulties and struggles
Which makes a lot of people crumble
Some of us are so lucky
Because life blessed us with somebody
Who will stay by our side
Come rain, come sunshine
Like it has blessed me with you
My one and only.


Your smile has proven to be my strength
Your words are my greatest weapon
Your presence has definitely been my strongest motivation


Like a gold walking through the fire, you mould me.

Like a river found in the middle of a desert,you saved me.

Like a light at the end of the tunnel, you motivate me

Like a compass found in the middle of nowhere, you navigate me
Because you are nothing to me
But my ONE AND ONLY


Soldiers rejoice for winning a war

Farmers rejoice for having a bountiful harvest

Doctors rejoice for being able to save a patient's life

Scientists rejoice after a successful experiment

Lawyers rejoice after winning a case

I rejoice because I have you by my side, as you are my ONE AND ONLY
