FearUdom: The Governor Said he used our 13% to settle Akwa Ibom State loans! But information at the Debt Management Office shows we are still heavily indebted! According to the DMO, Akwa Ibom State’s debt in March 2022 stands at N214.60 billion, from N234.85 billion in September 2021, making it the State with the fourth highest debt in Nigeria. So exactly which part of our loans was discounted and what is left from the 13% derivation fund the Governor received? The Government is yet to tell Akwa Ibomites what happened to their money! Enough is enough of taking Akwa Ibomites for fools!
