I think making of new phones should be stopped, the phones are getting too much. There should be like a throttle on the rate Manufactures keep making new phones.

I thought i was the only one who found this very annoying.

This is a no issue. so many of the variants are meant for the chinese market and it's not intended to leave their market. while some are given different name for different market. For example the poco f3 was released as mi 11i for india. So also, the 12s, 12s pro and the 12s ultra were only released in china. the idea behind the name scheme is just to identify the variants for a particular market

Some variants are exclusively for the Chinese markets.
The rest are tweaked for other markets

Some are for the Chinese market while others are for the Global market but even at that, Xiaomi is really causing a lot of confusion with its naming system. iPhone 14 also has a US version which uses only eSims and a global version that uses sim cards but you won't get confused when trying to purchase the phone. Of all the phones listed there only 12 pro and 12t pro was released in Nigeria so how exactly is it a problem for you ? Will you go to China and buy those meant for the Chinese market or go to India and buy those meant for them ? Una just dey complain over what doesn't affect you

Most of them were made for the global market because even from their specs, they all support network bands from all countries. Instead of admitting that Xiaomi is confused you dey try defend them as if Xiaomi is the only company that produces Chinese versions of their devices.
How can a company be making multiple models of the same series and just swapping little things in each model and creating more confusion. One phone will use Snapdragon, the other will use Mediatek.

OGA you need beating. Go to GSMArena and check all the phones Samsung has released this year and compare their naming convention to the nonsense Xiaomi does.

The series is not over. You will soon see 12S Max, 12 4G, 12X WiFi Only
