HEARTY CHEERS TO CHIEF OLISA METUH ( AKA JI UGO NNEWI ) AT 57 Today, I join friends, family and well wishers to congratulate and celebrate Chief Olisa Metuh on the auspicious occasion of his 57th birthday anniversary At 57, Chief Olisa Metuh already boasts of a very rich resume of accomplishments and has made tremendous impact in the lives of several people and institutions within and beyond Anambra State. Chief Metuh, an accomplished lawyer, real estate mogul and politician, began his political career as the coordinator of the Igbo United Congress. While serving in that capacity, he was also a member of the finance committee of People's National Forum (PNF). He served as a pioneer member of the National Finance Committee of the People's Democratic Party and was later elected as ex officio member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) and later the secretary of the National Peace and Reconciliatory Committee of the party. He was later appointed as member of the People's Democratic Party Constitution Review Panel, later National Auditor and member of the party's National Working Committee, National Vice Chairman of the Party for Southeast zone and finally as the National Publicity Secretary of the Party; roles he handled with great dexterity and panache Chief Olisa Metuh has also, through his foundation, touched the lives of so many in the society via scholarships, contributing his own quota for the betterment of humanity. On behalf of my family and the good people of Anambra South, I wish to congratulate you on the propitous occassion of your 57th birthday. It is my earnest prayer that Almighty God continually keep you in good health, bless you with sound mind, embellish you with great wisdom and enduring grace to serve our beloved state, Nation and humanity at large for many years to come.
